Mari Brown Wolthuis grew up in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School where she was voted Student Body Historian and received the “Lassie of the Year” award. She married Gary Wolthuis after attending Weber State University. They heard “It’s A Boy” 5 times as each son came and graced their home. They are now grandparents to thirteen – six boys and seven girls. She participated in and became President of Utah Homemakers, promoting all things home and family. Mari is a breast cancer survivor.
She has served in many areas, especially in serving young and adult women in her church. She was also a den leader for numberous Cub Scouts. Mari was also involved in elections by campaigning for candidates, and serving at the polls as an election judge.
Her hobbies include, cooking, entertaining, Interior Design, sewing, and music.
